I paid double rent plus a reletting fee coming out to about 1900 dollars just to get out of my lease early. This place is worse than living out on the streets in the ghetto. First off, my apartment was so horrible, the paint was peeling on everything, it smelled funny, the appliances are 1980's, and my dishwasher always flooded my kitchen, all my cabinets were crooked or falling apart, there is no outlet in the bathroom... They had a ghetto laundry room and connections for only stackable washer/dryer in the unit. The people downstairs from me had like 50 people in a 2bedroom. someone came over and fought the guy in our front lawn, it ended with blood n broken beer bottles all over the ground and on my stairs, police, and a broken bottle on my car. my car got keyed and broken into. no one around speaks english, they wont hesitate to whistle at you or follow you around the parking lot though. and to top it all off, mcarthur was completely under construction the year i lived there so getting in and out was horrible, (2006) and the first night i lived there mine and my friends car were towed, i reported them stolen and they said to go pick them up at the tow place, well how the hell am i gonna get there. my parking sticker was on my dash but not my window. $360 for both cars! and good luck finding any available guest parking! Do not move here. Front office is only nice and responsive until you sign the lease, they act like they will be doing a background check on you before you're approved, it takes a day, they're really just stalling to get a dirty apartment crappily ready in 1 hour for you to move in, they approve Everyone! so if you are an ex con, a rapist, pedifile, murderer, burgler, etc..... this IS your place, U WILL be approved!
