I just have to say that i've lived at some pretty bad apartments, I'm 24 and just graduated and moved to the DFW metroplex. I moved into the Reminton Hills Apts and my lease will soon expire. If do not plan on renewing my lease, management is rude!!! First the apt above us flooded and it took them 2 months to finally come and fix our walls and when they did fix it all they had done was paint over the damage. We were told that when we moved in if we had any problems w/the apt. we could call maintenance and fromt the time we called until the time it was fixed the rent would be pro rated that was a lie, they would have never done anything if we hadn't typed up a formal complaint w/them and told them we were going to sue. Also everything in the apt is falling apart, the countertops are cracked, the knobs are old and fall off the doors, we have an intrusion alarm that came w/ the apt and it has been broken since day one, sometimes it goes off but the maintenace people say just to unplug it, whats the use in having it then' It goes off in the middle of the night sometimes and when we called the emergency 24hr hotline at 3 in the morning, the guy showed up at 8 to fix it! We constantly have ant problems. We pay for covered parking and people seem to always park in our space and mngmnt does nothing! I could go on forever w/all the problems w/the apartments, but if you want to find out for yourself sign your lease @ remington hills, were way overpriced and our service absolutely sucks!, but don't expect them to tell you that before you sign your lease
