I currently went to this property to check out there floor plains. There was a nice rental agent who showed me one of there apartments. I felt like the apartments were ok and so I said I would like to put in a application and see if I can get approved. The application process is horrible because they ask so many personal questions about your 401K and how much money do you have on hand. I felt like I was applying for food stamps. I completed the long application and then turned it in with a money order for my application fee and deposit. I asked the agent what all I need to get approved for the apartment and she said we just need to get a fax over to your last land lord and copies of your 401k statement and birth certificates and social security cards on everyone that will be staying in the home. The Agent never said anything about there criteria on there apartments. I made sure I provided everything so I could get a answer as soon as possible. I passed the credit check so I felt like everything would be ok because that was the only thing I was worried about. I then had to wait for my apartments I currently stay in to fax them over a form letting them know information about me. This process took about a week and once The Reserve got the information back they called me and said they could not approve me because I have a misdemeanor. Not a felony but a small misdemeanor that I did when I was really young. It was just a traffic stop and I did not have a driver license on me and I had a warrant for my arrest for a speeding ticket I let get out of hand. Since I didn t have any identification on me I was arrested and released the same day with failure to ID. I never had this problem before with any other apartments with there screening process so this was all new to me. I can understand if I had a drug charge which I don t do are felony but this was just ridiculous. I should have been informed on the criteria when I asked for a application. I just feel if you do apply to this place ask them upfront on what there looking for so you wont have to waste your time. I have a friend guy that lives in the Reserve that told me that its good I didn t move in because he is trying to move out. He said that he live by to guys that don t work and all they do is smoke weed and sell drugs out of there apartment. They keep up noise all day and he said that he has a few roaches that he sees every now and then. I guess what people are saying is true about this place. I went there and just liked the floor plan but really didn t know what really goes on in the apartments. I guess I feel better I was denied because I found some way better place in Irving that makes the the Reserve look like look the projects. Also what I found out is that if you ever wont to work out you have to do it doing there normal business hours because its so ghetto that if that made it 24 hrs people steal the work out equipment. The gates never close so anybody can walk in at all times of hour. They also accept section 8, not saying thats a bad thing but how dare they try to act all upclass when there not. I was going to go out my way to prove my case by going to the police station to get a report but after I got a call from another apartment complex that s way better I guess God was looking out for me and wanted me in a much better place.

It's low income loser. You have to fill out all that paper work. If you want to live in a tax credit apartment, you should complete the application and stop complaining. If you have a misdemeanor, it's your fault not The Reserves. Do the crime, do the time. Get it.

Anonymous your the only poor airhead who dont have a life. Im sorry to talk about your projects you call rich living. Im sorry you felt so upscale in your drug infested apartments. Please understand I have money and a good paying job. I might not be rich but Im not poor at all! I gave my review on how I felt to help other people out on what to expect from this place. I didnt know much about the apartments and didnt know they go by your income. So please get some self esteem and get off my back for telling it like it is. People like you have to talk about other people to make themselves feel better. Please get help before you hurt yourself!!! To redi2muv I moved in a nice apartment called The Summit By Norstar. I think they are very nice and I wont be moving for a long time.
