Parking is horrible and that is an understatement. A letter was sent to residents that they were looking into parking issues over six months ago, but nothing has been done and of course no communication from the office if this is going to be resolved in 2008. Management could very easily remove curbs and create extra parking. If you come home after 7 don't plan on parking next to your building or even the neighboring building. You get to hike from the rear parking lot to the front of the apt complex! Since parking is so bad I telephone on cars without parking stickers to the office. Management tells me call the towing company to tow the car. The towing company is so feed up with management they refuse to tow any car unless it is in covered parking. Oh and forget calling the courtesy officer when they have one.

My breezeway has NEVER been cleaned in two years and is filthy.

The grounds are dangerous. Walking this mornning I found over ten drain covers missing. If you walk at night make sure you have a flash light because it is very easy to step into these holes.

There is a huge pothole at the front entrance that hasn't been repaired in three months. There was a slow leak at the mailbox center and algae covered the sidewalk. The sidewalk stayed in that condition for months. They didn't even attempt to sweep it and clean the sidewalk until the drainage repair was made.

If you think maintenance, grounds, and parking aren't bad enough lets talk about renewing. If you were interested in renewing don't count on management getting a renewal letter to you on time. Managment will still increase your rent without proper notice and while still enforcing their 60 day move out notice, unless you are smart enough to call them and demand your fair rights.

The funniest part is managment had to nerve to ask their residents to go onto apartment ratings because their reviews are so bad. There is a reason for the overwhelming negative comments! See attached pictures...

Lawsuits, Lawsuits... as soon as someone gets hurt. Did you know that they are in default of your lease agreement? Look at P. 32 or 34..one of those... Send 1 hand delivered letter signed as they received a copy or 1 certified letter... if they dont fix it... you get yo break your lease and move out...they wouldnt stand a chance if they fought it.

Oh I am completely aware of my rights. I managed apartment complexs and was in the business unfortunately for over 10 years. I have called their district manager when the office failed to deliver my renewal notice. The district manager never telephoned me back. We are on notice to move out. But feel free to trip in one of numerous trip hazards and sue the crap out of Westdale.

If you look back, when Lane was the manager there were more complaints than now. Thank you for your opinions and being a long term resident.

Write to Westdale Property Management Company. They have a corporate office in Dallas. It is a reputable company according to the internet so surely they care to here what is going on.
