If the management told you Santa Fe Ranch was only 7 years old, they lied to you. When I moved in, they told me it was 10 years old, and my apartment looks older than that! It isn't MY PLACE to tell my neighbors to abide by their lease terms and the community policies. IT IS MANAGEMENT'S! If they don't, IT IS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY!

I am an apartment locator in this industry for over 13 years and have always had great experiences with Sante Fe Ranch staff. There is a disgruntled resident or prior resident that noted all locators would not refer to Sante Fe. I can say this is just not true!!,
All the locators in my officed and others I know well in the business have no problems referring here. I know in all communities there can be problems that arise but I have not experienced bad feedback here.
I will continue to refer to Sante Fe without hesitation.

I agree it is probably better than most neighborhoods in south Oak Cliff but I wouldnt go much further than that. Sante Fe Ranch must be a step up for you because it is the worst place I have ever lived. Another pathetic stab at defending this crap hole.
PS. Call your local Apartment locator. Ask for all apartments in Valley Ranch between $700-$1400... see if they leave off Sante Fe Ranch. Ya, it will be on purpose.

I know for a fact that you have never been to Oak Cliff if you compare Santa Fe to that side of Dallas. You need to live in a bubble, alone on the planet of Mars with no other person around you. Buy a house "kid" why are you still living in apartments? You have no tolerance for commmunity living. I don't live down by the way I live up.

Enough People! Clearly whomever this is has had a bad experience or did not get their way in the end with the Management at Sante Fe Ranch. NO matter what "Positive" comments are posted regarding Sante Fe Ranch this individual will always have a "Negative" response. So lets all...right now -- Agree to Disagree! Please remember that when we all stand in front of GOD on judgment day we will be held accountable for every "IDLE" word spoken out of your mouth. I hope that the readers of this site can see that this is only a few people that have target Sante Fe Ranch and ----- personally. For the same people or person that keep responding "Negative" regarding SFR -- You have stated your case and clearly we understand that you think Sante Fe Ranch is a horrible place to live... maybe you should, if you already have not, consider leaving quietly and stop turning this into such a ugly situation. Because of your nature (and your track record)...I am sure you will respond to this note as well "Negative". Sante Fe is a wonderful place to live. A current resident (1 years)

Interesting that you quoted your mother... because you should have kept your mouth shut to! First off, who are you to tell others how they keep a there own budget? I too could have afforded to purchase a parkig spot, but I think that it's ridiculous that you should have to spend an extra 25 dollars a month just to park at the place that you pay rent to!! Isn't that why we had to put that little sticker on our car window? I believe it implied that I was able to park on property, without paying for a covered parking spot! How can you except people to just sit back and live when living at SFR is a nightmare! As far as the gates go... I don't know what gates you drive through, but the gates I always drove through sucked and were constantly broken... at times they wouldn't even open, and I would have to back up and find another exit just to leave! At other times they would spend days wide open with the red light blinking! I think that any apartment complex that has to send out a letter begging people to write "positive" things to say are pretty much speaking for themselves! I think your letter was ignorant, look at post after post about this place... clearly there is a problem or there wouldn't be so many, many unhappy people writing and agreeing with others! The office should be more concerned about fixing the problems rather than trying to get beg people to write nice things! Finally, I don't think SFR staff does there job, if they did, they wouldn't have all these terrible complaints... get a clue -----! I know they are going to void out her name, but it's the office manage I'm speaking of!!

She didn't tell anyone how to keep their budget. All she said was that she budgets herself for a carport. You put that little sticker on your car so that the towing company doesn't tow you car away. They do go through the property at night and tow anyone that is parked in a resident spot that doesn't have a resident sticker. It doesn't imply that you can park in the covered spots. The people in the covered spots have a different sticker to tell the towing company that they are allowed to be there. So when you park there with just your resident sticker they will tow your car. Stop and think for one minute. There are about 350 apartments on this complex and about 15 bad comments. Doesn't seem like there is a whole lot of people that hate the complex to me. At least this lady has enought guts to say something positive and not go with everyone else.
