What are you guys talking about.... From: janeandjoedoe Date posted: 2/23/2005 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003 1 response   My family and I lived at Presidio Park from 2002-2003. We moved into the apartment, everything was fine, except for the monkeys upstairs. EVERYTIME they did anything we could hear them and their wild children, but living on the first floor what do you expect. Well we began receiving complaints/lease violations about our little dog. He was "vicious" and "almost attacked" our neighbor, is what the office had told us that was being reported to them. We were even sent a notice to remove the pet (which we had paid the full pet deposit for before we even moved in). One evening my dog was out on a leash (I was holding the leash but still by my front door talking to a guest and he was peppersprayed by the monkeys upstairs. My husband is an officer for Irving P.D. (they didnt know this because of his work schedule) needless to say they didnt come around much more after that incident :). We completed the inventory form and returned in a proper time frame and the issues on that form were never taken care of even when being brought up to the management numerous times. Work orders were done, like other reviews state, days later and mostly incomplete. I had a leak in my guest bedroom from the washer plumbing from the third floor. The came to look, came back days later to patch, then days later to repaint. We were however, not aware of when they had scheduled these repairs and they ruined paintings and diplomas hanging on the walls where they did the repairs by not covering our belongings which we were not asked to remove before completion of the repairs. After a while you will lose the energy and not ask for any repairs to be completed. Also dont borrow any movies from their "library". I did so and returned the movie as scheduled. They lost the movie or did not check it back in when it was returned, and tried to charge me for it. I had to set them straight but they got a little sassy with me and I dont do sassy! :) The gates, I dont know where the other reviewers lived or if they have installed gates since I have moved out but we had 2x4 peices if wood on a hinge for a gate. That is not a gate and a $50.00 remote deposit for a peice of wood that was always broken was definately not worth it. When you apply kiss that deposit check goodby! I work in the apartment industry and know what is "right and wrong" for charging residents. I lost all my pet deposit, my remote deposit and ended up owing the community money''''' They had, suprise, changed staff AGAIN! The agent who we originally leased from, Charity, was gone and ghetto was the new office staff. The fitness room had a water cooler, no water. The business center had computers, not working. The maintenance had work orders, they say no problems. The hot tub was hot, every once in a while. The pool was clean, yeah right! The laundry rooms, dirty. The mail boxes, keys dont work well. And for you car, it will be broken into. Dont count on having a covered parking space, they will assign it to someone else! Make Presidio Park your home, it will be the worst dive you have ever lived in.
