I went in simply to check out the place. The woman in the front office was completely rude. I was so offended w/her behavior. Granted I am not a wealthy person, but I am well educated & I have a steady income, and I'm a teacher!
I waited about 15 minutes to talk w/this woman. When I finally did get the chance to go into her office, there was a man who was trying to move in a mattress. He was a hispanic man, and I could understand him perfectly. She repeatedly told him, "I don't understand you!" Then when he spoke up louder, she acted as though she had never heard an accent before. I had to translate, "HE'S FROM AARON'S FURNITURE & HE'S HERE TO DELIVER A MATTRESS!"
After that mess, she asked me what I was interested in & she laughed at my rate range & basically shut the floorplan book & said, "You're not going to find any place in this area that has 1bdrms for under $1100." I explained to her that I was a teacher, & that several other places around had plans that fit my price ranges, & she had the gaul to say, "That's all game sweetie."
It's amazing the trash in this world that tries to portray themselves as treasure. She needs to work @ Churches Chicken!

We got a very nice 1 bedroom here at Stoneleigh in May of 2006 for $850.00 with a garage. Everyone was very very nice to us and we moved here site unseen from California...
