I used to love this apartment when I moved here a couple of years ago. Since then the management has changed and the staff has become very unfriendly. Any request for help or service ends up in a lease/contract discussion that you always lose.
When I moved in, they proudly sold their safety features and claimed Stoneleigh to be one of the safest gated community. However, for the past few months the gates have always been left wide open for through Traffic. There has been a couple of apartment break-ins and a number of cars have been broken into this week. After numerous complaints to the management and repeated requests to fix the gates, there has been no action. The management as usual denies any responsibility to the break ins and has no concern for the safety of their community.
Overall, if you are someone who cares about safety just stay out of this community.

Tne gates are a problem but we are responsible for the security of our vehicles and homes. typical democrat thinking, oh let them take care of me!

I don't know if you have noticed... but the gates are fixed. But as for you car- You can have a car break in anywhere. Don't you think if they want what is in your car bad enough they are going to get into it anyway. As for the office staff- Don't get mad at them for doing there jobs. The rules are set by people above... Not them.

the only place i've heard of break ins and car theft is on this site. when has this happened? which apartments?
