Don't Get Fool by the Low Price!!

Yes, this apartment is in the great area with low price BUT.... yeah, there's a lot of BUTS! First, the appliances are really-really OLD. I mean OLD. We moved in Novermber 2006 and Now is August 2007, the ICE MAKER NEVER WORKED. I requested maintenance to come and check it three times and they always left the same exact notes: "We checked if the water flow or not" Which is NOT !!! all these times, we have to buy bag of ices. The Dish Washer is not working properly. Whenever I washed dishes, the dishes are still wet and there's at least 2 inches water on the bottom of the washer. And of course I called the management office and guess what this young lady told me "Mam, it is normal to have water inside the machine" I was like, gosh, is she stupid or what!' And ended up nobody even bother to come and fixed it. Ok, that's only kitchen area. Now, AC... I live in 2 bedrooms. The AC on master bedroom is so hot. I mean obviously HOT compare to the other bedroom. This is SUMMER and we are in TEXAS. So, we need AC. We closed all the vents in the living room and kitchen area because we never used that area that much, we closed them in purpose and I told the management office that I closed it in purpose. Again, I requested the maintenance to fix it. And guess what they said, "Found that vents are closed" ! I am not blaming on the maintenance, they just do whatever the office requested. The problem is the people that took the notes!!! HAVE THEY EVER LISTENED' NO! We can't wait til our lease is up. HELL NO I AM NOT RECOMMENDED ANYBODY TO LEAVE HERE EVEN THEY OFFER US $250 !!!!! Trust me, you don't want to leave here. Your neighbors will cook CURRY and leave their doors and windows open in purpose so everybody can smell how 'great' is their food smell which smell like a dumpster.

I agree with you on everything! The appliances are so old, they are just falling apart. Our microwave doesn't even work anymore. The neighbors are mostly Indian, and there's nothing wrong with that, but they are sometimes very noisy. Our bedrooom also gets very hot in the Summer, while the rest of the apartment is cool. Never had a problem with maintainance as of yet, but I'm not sure how much longer we will live over here. There are better places to be found.

you think they would spend that 250 they are using to lure suckers to buy new appliances but nope. they are idiots. i little bit of moeny to live in a run down place is not worth it.
