has it's pluses and minuses From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/23/2004 Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2004   i have lived here for over 3 years, and have mixed views about this complex. the goods: i like the layout of my apt, and my rent has remained the same for the last 2 years. i also enjoy the huge kitchen. the bads: the location of some apt (especially ones without attached garages) may have you walking cross-country to get to your apartment. also, as another reviewer previously mentioned...the gates are broken more than they are fixed (this can partially be blamed on inconsiderate persons visiting the complex). the main negative aspect of living here is the parking. it's awful. i have to walk a mile to get to my apartment, and my friends hate visiting me b/c they have to park two miles away from my apartment. overall, i think the location in valley ranch is great (not directly off of macarthur), and the complex is nice (not too large or small); however, the parking and individual apartment locations are some things to strongly consider (one recommendation: don't fall for the "model" apartments. ask them to show you EXACTLY where your prospective apartment is located prior to signing a lease!).
