I moved in three months ago I must say that I didn't have a bad experience at all. So far so good I had some problems with my AC but management and maintenance was great and responsive replacing not only the Ac unit but also the thermostat and in unit transformer so now I have whole new Ac much energy efficient. I haven't had a issue with the parking and I also have a bike and I do not use a chain to secure it (is true I have a lo-jack installed and a paging alarm however I haven't the alarm kicking in for a valid reason). The area is just beautiful, being European I find this to be muc like Italy. I have seen many negative reviews for this community and I tend to give the credit to those writing it... it is just that my experience so far is great. It is true that minor misunderstandings can occur but where wouldn't(') after all if we look for the perfect place I believe that we would have to look forever...

True, no one will ever find a perfect place to live, but you have to put the Cabochon in the category of NOT viable! I would not wish this place upon my worst enemy. Let alone have them deal with Rebecca Swift the property manager. She is an awful human being. I hope your lo-jack system works because I would hate for your bike to be stolen. One night alone 25 cars were broken into inside the ???gated??? garage (that hasn???t worked in over 3 years) and the management office did nothing to make sure it wouldn't happen again, but don???t worry ???the gate will be fixed by July 4, 2006.??? Oh wait that was almost 2 years ago and it still isn???t fixed. Shocking??? I moved out over moved 6 months ago and I am still on this website urging people not to move in! The black mold problem is horrific, it could not possibly be noisier, and management is useless. Wait till you have a real problem and they will just ignore your phone calls, cancel meetings, and when you go to the office to speak with them they will tell you that they are going to put a restraining order on you for ???stalking.??? Ummm FYI management we aren???t stalking you or harassing you. We are following up because you obviously don???t know how. Save yourself from this hell hole!!!

Wow, I'm shocked! I walked around the cabochon complex today and thought it looked like a wonderful place to live. The water and the people walking their dogs and the beautiful Italian look completely sold me. As soon as I got home I got online to look at rent prices and reviews and I'm so glad I did. This place sounds like a hellhole...not a dream home like I envisioned. I'll stay in my current apartment complex where they are nice, friendly, responsive and always willing to help. A big thank you to the people who took the time to write their reviews.

ya the view is nice after you get past all the dog poop every where and tires being slashed. witch are being done by , crazy people and the "thugs" who live here. we had no problem at first either but its gotten so bad that they've let us break our lease. so what does that tell you?
