Debbie:
It has come to my attention that you have ignored our request to make some repairs in our apartment for more than a month.
We placed a written request on July 31st. We expected that matter to be taken care of within a week, as your assistant told us. 23 days later, on Friday, August 22nd I called you to ask what was happening and you told me that someone was going to come on Monday August 25th. Nobody came, so on Wednesday August 28th I called you back and you told me that you did not work that Monday so for that reason, you forgot but that you were going to send someone the following day, Thursday August 29th. Well, today is Monday September 8th, and nobody has made any repairs.
Let me remind you that one of the repairs we need you to make is to reattach a rod in the closet, I have two small children and we think that is dangerous for all of us to have that rod loose. We think as many of the people who have written bad reviews online, that the management is having serious problems to make of The Cabochon a clean and good place to live at.
If we don t pay our rent on time you immediately send a letter charging the late-fees, as we had to do in August, no matter that in 21 months here we were never late before. We were late just 24 hours. There, you are very efficient.
If it is impossible for you to take care of these issues, please let us know and if you agree, we will look for someone to make the repairs and what ever they charge we will take that money out of our next rent payment.
Finally, our carpet was supposed to be cleaned in the first week of September. You offered this service if we renew the contract. Nobody has come yet. Please, don t make us wait too long for this promised service.

They are seriously understaffed and the staff that they do have on hand for repairs are ignorant and unprofessional. They are disrespectful and seemingly incompetent. This is a very large establishment that is totally overrated. Sure it???s a nice place to visit but is a HORRIBLE place to live. It honestly should be rent-controlled. Speaking of Rent, don't even get me started on that one. I have NEVER been late on my rent and received a note on my door about my rent being late. They "accidentally" credited my payment to someone else???s account. How careless can one be with someone???s lively hood?, Who does things like that?! They need better management and MORE staff, maintenance to be more specific. They are constantly worried about fire alarms (which is great) but how about a fixing things that people actually request to get fixed!
