I do not know where to begin with this place.
I could start off with the ---- roaches that have been in our apartment since day one.
The mold'
That our Air Conditioner is broke.
The elevators are never working.
Fire alarms in the middle of the night, that do not turn off for 4 hours.
Gates to enter the apartment that do not WORK!!
How they have not attempted to FIX not a SINGLE work order since we have moved in FOUR months ago.
How I went down there and they BLAMED ME for having ---- roaches in my apartment and throughout the whole building.
REALLY'
---- roaches love the towers, we have sprayed ourselves, set up traps, had people to come out to spray, cleaned our apartment thoughroughly and have not gone more than three days without seeing a cockroach in the hallway/elevator/our apartment. It is disgusting. Some days there are four cockroaches or water bugs, whatever they hell they are.
The mold did not show up until after it rained really hard one night, and then BLACK mold was very visable. Obviously, they painted over it before we moved in, they did not come close the leak and fix the mold until TWO WEEKS LATER! The hallways and elevators smell awful.
The management is horrible and they do not blame anyone except the tenents. So much for the customer always being right. These reviews do not lie. Over 200 negative reviews are not lying. DO NOT MOVE HERE. You will be kicking yourself for living here. None of the staff cares. They new staff is worse than the old staff. I would reccomend living here if you are okay with cockroaches crawling all over your things, you enjoy mold, you are an excellent handy man and you can fix problems such as air conditioners breaking, yourself. Knock yourself out. This place cannot change. It never will, do not be fooled by a new name and a rude staff.

Back when the place was nice there were rules about the management & maintenance staff getting snockered on property.

Your situation sounds even worse than what we've lived with ... that's pretty gross. If you Google "Texas Attorney General - Tenants' Rights", scroll down to "If You Have Problems" - a legal process outlined for dealing with landlords who do not fix problems within reasonable time. This could allow you to either 1. get out of your lease, 2. take them to court, or 3. pay for repairs yourself and then deduct the costs from your rent (whatever suits YOU best). You can't just go ahead and do any of those things at whim, but this process would allow you to do any of those things legally in around 3 weeks or so. From what I've heard from other tenants, a certified letter stating that you've been requesting repairs for however long that have not been completed and they are in breach of contract usually gets them moving pretty quickly. Personally, I made myself like a bad rash that wouldn't go away and went down to the office or called every hour or so until essential repairs were made in our apartment - I gave up with staff and dealt only with the manager. Things in my apartment are finally fixed. I've totally given up on anything outside my apartment like elevators and dangerous & noisy slamming doors considering all the problems I heard about (as bad and even worse than yours) from other tenants on my many trips to the office. Good luck!

Thank you so much for the information, we have been to the office and have not written any formal letters, but have our own written documentation of events that have taken place since we have moved in the property, and I suppose legal action is the route we are going to take. I apreciate the help.
