Moved here early this year upon recommendation from good friend who has been here for several years. Big mistake!

My friend had loved the old management and couldn't rave enough about her. Unfortunately, the new manager (who got here just months before I moved in) is unprofessional, unresponsive, and could not care less about her residents. Chronic roach and rat infestation (I've had to invest over $150 of my own money to take care of the problem myself, as management has done nothing to resolve the problem); shoddy maintenance (drawers falling apart, door locks are weak); and complete unresponsiveness by the management staff overall. Staff turnover is high, and those who are there are often rude and unhelpful. So-called 24-hour maintenance guarantee is a crock -- they've never honored that despite my repeated requests for frequent maintenance repairs (both in writing and orally).

In addition, a couple of issues that I had first brought up when I first rented the apartment, and which management had assured me would be taken care of, was later rescinded (management claimed they never made such promises).

It's really too bad because the area is wonderful: lovely park in the neighborhood with walking trails; minutes from the DART TRE station, and close promixity to major highways. But overall, I would definitely discourage people from moving here if you want to retain any semblance of sanity.

IF you choose to live here after all these negative reviews, I would STRONGLY urge you to get EVERYTHING in writing from the management, including all work orders and maintenance requests. If they promise you something during the lease signing, GET IT IN WRITING! I couldn't emphasize that enough. Other than that, good luck!
