Some office staff is good, some are not. After 5 months here, my wife and I moving to a different complex. Noone speaks English, crime is very high here. Maintanance is freindly and do the best they can as fast as they can. Been cars jacked from the property, per a conversation with a local police officer the other day, and the illegal immigrant problem has severely affected the neighborhood, but politics is tieing the hands of the police dept. Had hispanic lady move in underneath us. She is very nice, but a couple other illegal families moved in also, leaving no parking, loud fiestas all night, etc. Trinity wont do anything about it because being politicaly correct. The work-out room sucks. Good starter apartment, but must have a very high tolorence for illegal immigrants and speak spanish. I work nights, and did not feel safe leaving wife here alone at night. I suggest looking at the crime statistics on the Irving Police Dept website, and talking to the officers in the area. The cops are awesome here and are very informative and helpful. They will help you choose an area to live in, and they will NOT suggest this one because of rapes, stolen vehicles, etc. Nice place, but nothing outstanding.

I moved to the DFW area in 1997, and stayed at Trinity as long as I could stand it. I hate moving and ended up putting up with a lot of misc crap you talked about. The crime was not that bad when I moved out in 2006 (a break-in or vandal-mostly kids, about once every few months), however the quality of residents has gone rapidly down hill since about 2003. The surrounding area (Walmart in particular) is 99% hispanic, and low number of english speakers. I don't want to sound racist, but it has significantly gone down hill since the hispanic population has increased. Trinity has turned significantly junky. Keep in mind it's not just the ---------, I had quite a few "redneck" neighbors that would get drunk and have loud arguments & throw beer cans, etc at 2am at night. Cops came to arrest a girlfriend a number of times a couple of years ago. If you can afford the extra 100-200 a month, shoot for Las Colinas (off MacArthur, N of 635) it's much better. A house is not much more and was my option. I'm glad I did it and regret nothing.
