Management Gossip Badely About Residents!

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004
Having lived at beautiful AIMCO property before, "Dolphin's Landing" in Corpus Christi, TX. I decided to seek out similar property when I moved to Irving. Over my course of reviewing apartments I came across "Trinity Apartment Homes" online. Of course the pictures looked gorgeous. As I drove up to the property, I was NOT impressed. There was no security gate and the overall appearance was awful. Frightened, I immediately went back home.
However, after convincing myself to give them another chance (because the rent was dirt cheap), I went back to fill out an application. The problems started there. As I sat down filling my application, I was disgusted to hear the sarcastic sighs that came from staff each time the telephone rang. Immediately after hanging up with prospect residents, one lady always a sarcastic comment to make. "Ugh!, you didnt ASK me about our specials!" - I could hear as sat, not knowing if I should just walk out. After that is one sign right after the next, one resident needed her locks changed. Once she left the staff commented, "Ugh! she's always fighting with her boyfriend, this is the last time we are changing her locks!". Another staff member said, "He just broke her window last week!". Then a hispanic male resident was traeted like dirt, because he had a bounced check. You could obviously see the hate in the eyes of the caucasian leasing agent, as she listed the large amounts of fines to him. As I waited for my credit to be ran, I went and looked around the property. Totally horrid, their "Car Wash" is simply an empty parking lot with a water hose. The wooden stairs leading up the the 2nd floor were so molded, I wouldnt trust carrying my furniture up them. Many hoodlums resided the property, the make and model or the residents' vehicles were all old.
When I went back to the office, God blessed me. "Unfortunately, your credit did not pass, so Im going to have to deny you" said the agent, after taking my $35 check. Though I was out $35, I was blessed. It was a sign. Never in my 5-year history of renting, had I ever been turned down for an apartment. I even had a great history with AIMCO - the very same company. Who knows why I was rejected, because the very next apartments I went to, I was approved right then and there. Im so glad I did NOT move there. Bad signs from the get go!
