Before you move in to Tuscan Villas, there are just a few things you should be aware of.

1. Their trash system is a mess. If you don't believe me, then ask them to actually take you to any of the rooms that hold a trash chute- they are chalk full of nasty garbage smeared on the walls and littered all over the floor. One time the garbage people did not come for 2 weeks- the trash room on our level was 4 feet deep in trash so that you could not even enter the room. At times, the chute becomes so smelly and stopped up that it stinks up the entire garage. My car smelled liked old garbage for a few weeks until they finally got around to taking the trash out and hosing down the chute.

2. Your deposit at move-in is not actually a deposit. Just consider it extra rent. They will take every penny when you move out, since they automatically require you to pay for the carpet to be shampooed and for the housekeeper to come. We stayed up all night the day before cleaning the apt., even having our friend who is a professional painter come and re-paint the walls with a fresh coat of the exact Sherwin Williams paint color that they use, and they still took our whole deposit for cleaning and re-painting fees.

3. Maintenance is horrible. We put in work orders to get our blinds fixed 3 separate times since they kept falling down. All 3 times we came in to find that the repair guy had hung dirty, bent and used blinds up. All 3 times they had fallen down again by the very next day. Our shower was unable to switch to bath because they never fixed the rusted mechanism, and 3 of our kitchen drawers were unable to open. We gave them work orders for all these things and they were never fixed.

4.. No package security. My friend from another state was able to pick up my packages without showing ID or signature.

5. Watch out for speeding people in the parking garage! I can't tell you how many near accidents I saw every morning when I left for work.

6. If you live on the 2nd or 3rd floor, you WILL hear your neighbors at all hours of the night. And their flushing toilets.

6. Poop all over the lawns. Be careful!

My advice, look elsewhere! These apts. are WAY overpriced for what you get. Shop around!
