I live at Villa Miranda and while the first year of my stay has been great, it has gone downhill pretty fast since then.

Where do I start with my complaints'
As several reviewers have pointed out, parking is a nightmare especially if you don't live near the gates or in the buildings closer to 635. They created some additional parking spots, but there is no way those are going to solve the problem. They cannot create more spots where they are needed most, i.e., for the buildings farther away from 635.

The rents have gone up trmendously on lease renewals since the new management has taken over. Can you imagine rents increasing by $130 or more per month''!!

Maintenance requests over the phone and given in person at the apartment office are routinely misplaced or sometimes even not entered into the system. You only figure that out after waiting for a couple of days and calling back to find out why it hasn't been fixed yet.

The printer in the business center never has toner. They stock answer is that they have ordered it and are expecting it in a few days. And in the rare occassions that the toner is there, it is so light that you can barely read the printouts.

To top it all, here's the kicker ... I heard from a fellow resident that their building is infested by rats!!!

The only positive thing I can say about the place is that the maintenance staff do their job well ... when the requests make it to them past the office staff.

I would NEVER recommend Villa Miranda to anyone in the current state of affairs. It's not the same community that I moved into a couple of years ago.
