Its obvious that Vista Pointe has been neglected in the past. Previous management was unhelpful, rude, and over paid for their time. My neighbors have told me horror stories. I have not experienced many of the complaints listed below myself, other then service requests taking more time to complete then neccessary, but I was unhappy with the complex. Apartments are not taken care of, grounds need serious attention, ammenties have been overlooked for some time now.... due to all of this I was going to move out but in the beginning of August I began to notice a change in the complex. I got a note on my door stating that there were going to be some real changes in the complex. Apparently they have a new staff and are looking to give this place the TLC it needs. In just 30 days we have had 4 resident functions (movie night, breakfast by the gate, socials. etc) and the new staff not only took care of my service request in 24 hours but then called me a few days later to make sure it was taken care of to my satisfaction. The grounds are being taken care of now and the fitness equipment that had been broken for months has now been repaired,it is slowly but surely looking like the complex I moved into 2 years ago. I went into the office to discuss my renewal options with the staff and I will say that this new group is 10 times more customer service oriented then the last bunch of clowns they had in their. I renewed my lease because of the faith the new staff gave me. I only hope that they do not let me down. So far so good.
