I moved into one of their newly remodeled apartments. I was assured that there would be little maintenance since everything was brand new but that was hardly the case. While I did enjoy the brand new appliances, there were still several maintenance issues that needed to be addressed, and when they did come out, they would try for a cheaper solution several times before actually fixing the problem. For example, the ceiling fan was unbalanced and needed to be replaced. Rather than address this, they tried several times to tighten the fan, which only held it in place for a few hours. Finally after the 3rd or 4th time I met the maintenance guy when he showed up and convinced him to replace it. It has worked perfectly ever since.
Parking is ample and the spaces are huge. The covered spaces seemed like a waste of money since they were further away.
Noise can be a problem. My upstairs neighbors have a giant TV and a very squeaky bed, both of which are brutal. My next door neighbor has a barking dog, also brutal. There was a period of time where we could hear dogs barking all night but that ended.
Regarding the other comments on this site I agree that there are issues with dog poop in the grass (walk on the concrete to get your mail) but I have never seen spiders or snakes. It's rare to see any bugs at all but I did see one mouse. There were issues with kids coming over from Santa Rosa but since they repaired the fence that has died down.
The plumbing here is awful, though. There is very low pressure and the temperature fluctuates horribly. They have tried several times to repair it and the water is shut off every tuesday but to no avail. That is a deal breaker for me; I am ready to have a good shower somewhere besides a hotel room. Though the office staff does seem to care, they have a tendency to try for the cheap fix every time.

Have they fixed the water issue now? I'm thinking about moving there next month (6/2006).
