I liked the apartments when I moved in but found I didn't like Denise, the manager. Good news, Denise left. Bad news, Kim joined. She was the WORST! Then the place sold, and we got Terri. Oh, how I miss Denise! By the way, they installed CO detectors for all units. Great, huh' Not really. They installed them in the GARAGES! That doesn't do anyone any good, especially since the units have wood burning fireplaces. The fire department sent them a letter with the recommendation that they be moved, explaining why where they put them was useless, not even rated for garages, but they never did anything. No one working there has any brains. Avonti is a walking brain donor. The quality of tenants sharply declined. No policies are enforced, so if you want to bring in a big restricted dog, nothing will happen to you. The units are sliding off their foundations. You move into a nice, pretty patched apartment, but by the next month there are cracks everywhere and all kinds of bugs get in. I had a millipede problem and baby newts keep invading my neighbor. The only plus is you have your own garage. When I moved out, I TOLD them I was not relinquishing the unit until the end of the month, but they saw the truck and went into the apartment on MY dime to get it ready for the next tenant without losing any days. I went back for something I left in the garage and to turn in the keys and found out. Terri feigned ignorance. I could have sued the heck out of them, but I just wanted ALL of my deposits back. She had been worming her way up to charging me for stupid junk. To put a cherry on top of all of the incompetence at this place, they over-reimbursed me $50, clearly unable to read their own spreadsheets and files. Do you think I told them' Hell no! I told one of the VPs of Lincoln... about EVERYTHING.

Yes what a concept, put the CO detector in the garage, I sleep in there all the time... Speaking of CO detectors and sleeping, just wait until your neighbor leaves to go out of town for a week, that's when their CO detector decides to go on the fritz, and it's always on a beautiful weekend you want to sleep with the windows open, SORRY, that's not happening because you get to hear the detector give the failure beep every 5 seconds! It must annoy the maintenance man also, because he rides by on his cart twisting his head as a dog would when it hears a high pitch sound. Hope you like Curry???
