Winsted Apartments

I've lived in the Winsted apartments for 2 years now, and have had no problems. The complex is extremely quiet, the people are friendly, and whenever I talk to anyone in the office they are more than gracious and easy going.
There are a lot of community functions in the clubhouse, which is nice. People get to know each other, hang out, and just bond as neighbors. That may sound cheesy at first, but I don't think you ever really feel like you're home if you don't know the people around you. A certain sense of familiarity is important.
I don't have much experience with maintenance requests because I've only submitted one in the entire time I've been here, but it was fixed the next day so I can't complain.
And bugs' Never had a problem with them. People act like glimpsing an insect on a planet where 95% of all life is of the bug variety is some kind of horrible nightmare. I get the occasional ant or pillbug, but that's it. I grew up in a $600,000 home in Coppell, and guess what' Same thing. Welcome to earth. I guess I don't understand people who complain about everything.
Anyway, the best thing about this complex, aside from the garages, is the quiet. It's a deal maker or breaker for me, which is why I haven't moved for a couple of years now and don't intend to. It's just awesome. The walls seem thicker than most places (maybe due to the older construction) and the fact that each building is only two stories and 8 or so (not sure) units helps a lot too, I'm sure.
I would definitely recommend the Winsted to anyone. And I have, several times.
