I moved to this community over a year ago and have nothing but great things to say! The leasing agent that rented the apt to me was very nice, helpful and informed me that she lived on site. That told me alot, if it was as bad as some of the previous reviews state, would she be living on site' I did think the apt was a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Believe me, it is well worth it. The complex is very quiet....We sometimes walk our dog a late hours and actually feel quite safe. Neighbors are nosey.....but nosey in a good way. I have placed one work order...I walked into the office and requested that a leak in my garage be fixed and by the time I drove back to my apt, maintenance was already there. As for roaches, I sure don't have them in my unit. Sounds to me like maybe the person stating they have them may want to keep a clean apt....maybe wash dishes and keep the garbage emptied.

Yes, the employees are willing to live on site for the huge discount they get. It doesn't say much of anything about the complex. I've been here almost four years now and have had quite enough. NO ONE picks up after there dogs and the office refuses to enforce the rules even when you give them a detailed report.

Actually, the employees do NOT get a huge discount for living on the property.....the discount is "chump change". I know this for a fact. If you have lived in Winsted for 4 years and are fed up, why havent you moved? Many apts offer great incentives to get you moved in. Another option would be to purchase a home..that way its you and the lienholder. Countrywide accepts applications 24/7 @ countrywide.com. I just dont see how someone that hates Winsted so much would stay for 4 years. Have you tried confronting the people violating rules? If I had a problem, I would....no need to go running to the office when I could resolve the problem on my own.

I doubt the staff would have time to write reviews.....as they obviously have tenants to keep them plenty busy.
