On the surface it's okay...

Don't be fooled by appearance or the new ownership touting their customer service record. They will tell you to your face they will take care of a problem, but they will NEVER do anything about it. This is a good place if the rules aren't quite to your liking, because you won't ever suffer a penalty for breaking them. The dog restrictions are not enforced, trash it put out overnight, noise restrictions aren't addressed, and dogs are often off-leash. Not only are there big dogs, but a couple of pit bulls. Oh, and the balconies and patios look nice and spacious, but don't even THINK of enjoying them on nice days. There are a few people throughout the complex who open their windows and leave their ratty little dogs to bark AALLLLLL day long. I'm listening to one of them right now. Even when you give the exact apartment number to management, nothing ever changes. I have to stay in my apartment with the windows closed (though it's not a good fix) because of it, or visit friends at better operated and managed apartments.

As a resident, I love it here. Guess, not everyone can be happy living here, you have people that complain for every little thing. If you don't like it there, just move!!!

I feel ya w/ the yapping dogs, but if you've got a problem w/ someone, go knock on their door. That's part of southern hospitality.

I knocked on a neighbor's door once. The little bovine started making noise louder and more often, and stealing stuff from my garage clip. The staff is so cheap and lazy they put important notices and private paperwork on the garage clips so anyone can take it. Happened to me. And just you wait, they will pick at EVERYTHING they can to keep your deposit when you move. They will charge you for carpet cleaning even though they automatically replace it between tenants.

Oh, sure. Barking dogs is something no one should ever complain about. It must have been yours.

Um...no one said not to complain about barking dogs, they said to go knock on the person's door and let them know yourself. Sometimes if you get to know your neighbor while you're living there, it's easier to let them know about things like that. Don't knock on their door and start yelling at them, just explain that you can hear their dog and you wanted to let them know it's a little disruptive. Be curtious but firm as well. If they really are going to be difficult, that's when you take it to the office. If they don't do anything about it...call the corporate office, that's how it works at most properties. Trust me, I've lived at a lot of different places.
