after reading some of these postings I can't beleive that you would be that unhappy to be living in apartments. I have lived here for close to 5 years and have seen management come and go. the longest ones that are no longer here is Ida and Loretta and Tarak. Since the new company has taken over yes there have been some bumps in the road but its not been that horrible here.
Yes, the water bills have been through the roof and it is frustrating, you budget a little extra each month for higher economy. I was happy to see the water did go down for April and I hope it stays that way.
I will be renewing when my lease expires bc it is going to cost more money to actually move than to stay put.
so if you are so unhappy go buy a house and pay the outragous taxes that Texas charges and then you will have your own issues to deal with and don't worry if something breaks bc you will be shoving out alot more money to have it fixed and the contractors do not normally show up in 24 hours. so good luck to all of you complainers. go take your frustration out on someone who has control over stuff.

If you are SOOO proud of where you live why are you not posting your name? Second of all- you are actually making it sound like to own property is a bad thing? DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND OUR ECONOMY TODAY? People that actually own homes are putting back into a failing economy so to site TX homeowners taxes as a downside to owning a home; PLEASE COME UP WITH SOMETHING INTELLIGENT! You would rather live in an apartment- where you have pot holes all over the place? You would rather live in an apartment where people are loud and rude? You would rather live in an apartment where there are drug dealers and OVER CROWDING- YES, I said it- OVER CROWDED APARTMENTS. It's kinda sad to see these parents let alone single parents living here with 3 plus kids. Great way to show responsibility!!! Keep having more kids so you can have 3 kids to each bedroom!!!! HOW TRASHY! But anyways...you can rent! It's your choice. But don't put the chip you have on your shoulder on to RESPONSIBLE adults who have money and SAVED while living in an apartment. See, you may live check to check like most Woodland's do- but not everyone lives w/out goals

Well you know what good for you. If you really like where you live than that is great. Besides I was just stating my opinion. If you are able to budget more and are ok with paying that much for water than good for you. I on the other hand am not ok with that. Besides who ever mentioned anything about moving to a house? I said people in a house paid less. And you do make it seem like it is a bad thing to own a house. My mother has owned a house for about 7yrs and has not had as much bad things happen as you're making it seem. I have chosen not to renew my lease and get the heck out of there b/c I found a much better area to live in that is way more affordable. I hope you live the rest of your life at Woodland Ridge if you're happy there. And FYI it is going to actually be $500.00 cheaper for me to move than to stay another month there. Where I am moving my 1st month is free no deposit and no app. fee oh and I'm also moving for free AND I know my water bill will be way less than what I am paying now so I'm happy and that is all that matters to me.

I Agee woodland ridge is for ----. I gave up a much loved 2 bedroom (wood floor)apt to move here in hope of saving a little cash over six months. Now I'm in a terribly cramped apt paying more!! The water bill is insane, $65 even when we're gone 2 weeks outta the month. Not to mention the water hasn't been on all day today! I am furious and want a shower! To the last person who posted: would u mind sharing the info about your apt find with me? Free first month sounds great. I could use u as a refferal if we were to move there. Thanks.
