When I lived at Woodside, the conditions were terrible. At the time I had a young child, but this didn't convince management to remove the safety hazards or make timely repairs. Looking at these ratings, maybe there has been a change of management. I eventually consulted a lawyer and wrote a 7-page letter stating my experiences there and the extent of unacceptable conditions there. The water was always rusty, my oven never worked, balconies were collapsing - mine included, the outside wall was rotten, and there were numerous fires attributed to bad wiring. Caution tape wasn't used to protect passers from balconies in repair, and the laundry room even had problems. The water was frequently shut off to the complex, sometimes with very little notice. If I'd had the money to sue then, (I wouldn't have been in that complex in the first place) I would have definitely done so. Several others I spoke with voiced the same feelings and offered their phone numbers in case a suit was filed. Even after I sent the letter to management, all repairs weren't made and no apology or compensation offered. I was told that at least one leasing agent had already left because of the constant problems there.
In addition, my car was towed when bearing the apartment's parking sticker. Numerous other cars were not towed and had the same sticker. Cost to have my car returned - $200 . Safety - Someone said this apartment was safe'! There was a fist fight in the parking lot, and I believe someone was shot and killed there after I had moved out. The apartments themselves weren't safe. I have dozens of photos I hope to add. One shows the water tank that was removed just before I left.
