when we first moved in the staff was great and besides the small closets and poor quality of craftsmanship we enjoyed it for a few weeks... then the new staff came in. they are rude and outright obnoxious. the parties at the pool with their drunken friends and their small children are enough to keep everyone else out. when we first moved in, the pool was open 24/7. now they close early at 10 every night or before then if the maintenance man feels like it. the pool and hot tub were both closed already because someones kid pooped in them. the tenants are allowed to let their dogs potty right outside your patio, in the flower beds and all over the property. definitely fooled by the appearance of the 'new' apartments. will NOT be renewing our lease.

From the manager - Yes, the pool closes at 10 on weeknights and 11 on Friday and Saturday night to avoid people partying in the pool at all hours of the night. The pool was closed for three days when some one went to the bathroom in it while we shocked it. The health inspector came out and said that we went above and beyond and it was in top condition. I know exactly who wrote this and they will remain anonymous, however, they have tried and tried to get out of their lease due to loosing their job and now using other means and the answer was no. We can not discriminate and let people out of their contracts, as that is a Fair Housing Issue. Unfortunately, it is usually the residents that owe money, get rejected or we are not able to break the rules for, that put comments such as these. We do every thing we can here at City Parc to make our residents happy, safe and have a nice comfortable place to live. I would say, for the most part, our residents are happy. I encourage anyone that considers living here to speak with residents at the pool or in the parking lot and ask their opinion.

this is exactly what I'm talking about. I am current on my rent, as a matter of fact it has ALWAYS been paid on time. I haven't lost me job. so you might guess again. As far as asking the people at the pool. Sure, go ahead. You'll see how drunk they are as well as the office staff that parties with them. It's great it you don't mind broken beer bottles at the pool, loud obnoxious drunken residents and staff. NOT much of a family atmosphere even though they all have their small children down there with them peeing in the hot tub.
and talking to the people in the parking lot, again, i couldn't have said it better. there are people hanging out at all hours. i'm sure they'll talk to you, too.

It sounds like all of these comments are coming from an individual who the staff has pissed off. I have been done wrong by a staff at an apartment complex that I lived in before as well, and I know how frustrating it can be. Now, I don't know if in this situation if the individual is overreacting, or if the staff isn't doing their jobs, but good luck to all of you.

in response to original post - small closets? mine are very large closets!
to management -
I am a good tenant who pays rent on time, and I've not had any issues or problems with the staff. I agree with anonymous above about it not being a family atmosphere. I'd be more than happy to take photos of breezeways and post here. Please do everyone a favor and enforce the conduct and breezeway policies. As for something posted elsewhere about coming to the staff about issues with neighbors, most don't want to do that because they know the word will probably get back to the neighbors.
Suggestion to Management: Send anonymous survey cards to addresses of rented apartments asking about issues discussed here and other things you might want rated.
