This place is ridiculous. It is 11pm on a Monday night and people upstairs on the second floor are moving out. They have the entire hallway full of boxes, furniture, and other stuff. They are making a ton of noise. This is just the latest thing. There is a major ant problem that is infesting our apartment and my young son is being bit at night in his sleep. We were told, "it is not just our apartment, but the entire complex" that has this problem by Traci. Every door in this complex when closed slams shut really loud with often wakes my son from his afternoon nap and also in the morning when people are leaving for work. When we moved in the pool hours where open 24/7 and those have changed, the codes have changed multiple times without warning or informing the tenants, the pool was closed for a week due to someones child pooping in BOTH the hot tub and the pool. We have had police drive through our complex several times looking for people, even with the apartments being gated. People have all size dogs here and they let them poop all over the complex without picking up after them. It is gross and smells horrible. At night if you are in the front of the complex they have it so lit up that your bedroom stays as bright as if you would have your lights on inside your bedroom, making it uncomfortable to sleep. Now the staff, I asked one of the ladies who lives by the pool and works here why the pool was closed a hour early one Saturday night. She said the maintenance guy closed it early. That is how it is here when it is inconvenient for them they adjust to their own schedules. Another lady who works here is always giving me the most evil/harsh looks; it was so awkward to go to the pool when she was there because she was SO rude. There is a large group of people who go to the pool with all their children and stay til it closes drinking all night (glass bottles), children yelling and running, and making a mess. Anytime we have mentioned a complaint it has been ignored. The maintenance men are quick to help when called, however; we have had to call them numerous times with electrical problems, brand new ac going out (installed incorrectly as told), cabinet doors falling off when opened, the drywall is cracking all over this "brand new" apartment. Also, there is construction that will be taking place over the next year on the corner of 1709 and Beach that will drive more ants, traffic, and noise. The outside trash is disgusting, there is only ONE dump for all of the complex and by mid week is overflowing with everyone's nasty, smelly trash. Plus if you live in the back or not close to the trash you have to drive to it in order to drop it off. For half the price you can rent an apartment of this one's poor quality in any city in the metroplex.

Unfortunately, this is the same resident that wasn't able to break her lease. All the negative comments are from one person because we can't allow her out of the contract that she signed. Again, I urge you to ask ANYONE who you see in the parking lot, their opinion.

Another thing.....the codes have only changed ONE time and the office staff did post flyers saying to come to the office for the new codes. Why do you have to lie? You must be really mad that you cant get out of your lease...lol

Seems like the same negative comments are coming from one person who has a bone to pick with the management. I urge the tenant to move to one of the half-price apartments, and see that you get what you pay for...and if bright lights, ants, moving boxes are a major problem, then this person obviously hasn't lived in another apartment complex with real problems. Have been a tenant for several months, and love it!

These seem like very inconsistent complaints. This person is griping about noise and then makes a comment about the pool not being open 24/7? Trust me I lived in a complex where people got into the pool late and it was the ultimate annoyance. If noise is an issue then you wouldn't care at all about the pool now being closed at a decent hour. As far as someone's child going to the restroom in the pool, then that falls on the responsibility of the parent. As far as the management staff's role then it's okay in my book that they closed it for the week to clean the pool. That was the right thing to do at all. I agree with the person above that you haven't lived in a complex with real problems. Pay half the price and see what happens as you claim you can do.

No problem with the staff here, but I agree about the noise.
