Granted I didn't pay much for the apartment, I lived there for almost two years with the old owner and three months once the new owner took over. We were evicted for nonpayment of late fees...we were never told of any late fees involved, I had to give up my precious cat because the new owner did not allow them, and never signed a lease. While we were there, three robberies took place at the EZMart across the street, one of which, I witnesed. The tenants were mostly friendly and older. There was one younger tenant that was pretty weird, though. I don't know if she still lives there but she took over as 'manager' when the last one took off with everyone's rent of the past three months. I really don't suggest anyone living there unless you want to put up with police chases through the apartment, hookers constantly walking by, little or no privacy, robberies occuring right across the street, and a horrible owner. I only met him once but he was one of the rudest people that I have personally ever met...
I lived upstairs and the steps were a horrible metal that hurt if wearing soft soled shoes. The landscaping was taken care of very well by the old manager and not at all by the new owner. The only issue I had over all for the apartment itself was the walls were paper thin, there was really poor lighting everywhere, and the dumpster was so far away and so dark, you wouldn't dare take trash out late at night by yourself.
