I have been living here for six months and these six months have not been good. The first day I got here I forgot to put my parking sticker on my car and when I finished unloading my car and putting things away I heard a noise I looked out to see my car about to get towed. Many cars get towed here and there are hardly no parking spaces for your guest. The lock on the door was messed up so I repeatedly kept on requesting management to fix it and it took two months to fix and it wasn't even done correctly until this date the door is still messed up. The gate is 90% of the time in unoperable conditions and when the electricity goes out in this part of town, you feel like you are in jail until maintenance decides to come and manually open the gate. You have to have a car to get out of the gate because just walking up to it doesn't cause it to open and then you either have to wait until a car drives up or jump the gate somewhere. It is really unsafe here because there have been numerous shooting at the apartments across the street which occur around 1 to 5 in the morning. People stand outside in groups outside their apartments constantly at anytime of the day. One big turn off is the smell that eminates around here. I guess there is a sewage plant or something around here because the smell is just horrible. You can't even open your window to let fresh air in because there is not any fresh air in unless you consider poop and pee to be fragrant. So if you want affordable and don't care about anything else then this is a place for you as for me I have a few more weeks until my lease is up.
