My husband and I lived in these apartments for about 7 months before we moved out. Don't get me wrong the apartments are nice, the pool is well maintained and the gym isn't too bad. On the flip side, I had someone try to come into my apartment early in the morning while I was there, the apartment is WAY to small for the amount we paid for rent, the apartments were poorly made, we could hear every thing that the people who lived above us did. When we had to go to a month-month lease, we were not informed the rent was higher than the normal monthly rent, we ended up paying almost one hundred dollars more. Also, every apartment that I have ever lived in, you don't pay extra money to have the carpets cleaned, that was just part of the maintence and staff to do when they turned the apartments over. ANother down side to living here is that the lawn maintence people come early in the mornings and blow the leaves off the walk ways next to the doors, one morning it was around 730am, being pregnant that is not a time to keep me awake, the lawn maintence personnel also had no concern for vehicles that were near where they were working or even paid any attention if you were to walk on the sidewalk out to your car. They would just carry on with their cutting and blowing of the grass, as if you didn't exist. I had to say something once to them. Lastly, it is unfortunate that the apartments are located where they are. I don't think there was a night or day that went by that cops were all around the neighboorhood. One night there was even a police helicopter roaming the area directly behind the apartments. I was in the Army for 6 years and spent a year in Iraq and lived in Washington, DC, and I felt safer there than I did living in these apartments. Overall I wouldn't recommend living in these apartments. They built the addition to accomadate the soldiers returing from Iraq, and personally they didn't do a great job.

Well look around in Killeen more you won't find a better place. Did you ever have anything broken into or stolen? I have live there for over 2 year. I am also in the Army. You make it sound like you don't get around much. Of course there is Crime around cities that are close to the bases that is a given. You should have told the staff about your loud neighbors they would have taken care of it for you. As for the lawn care seriously you should have said something about that too. I had an issue with them once and the staff took care of it having me talk to the lawn care manager. Common sense says sign another lease you are in the military and can break it at anytime with orders and following the proper proceedures. It is not up to the staff to regulate the month to month. Its their bosses that do this. You really do not have a valid complaint. Obviosly you haven't lived in nice apartments everywhere I have been you had to pay to have the carpets cleaned when you moved out its a commmon pratice for well kept places. As for the up keep of the place and you being pregnant isn't the staffs fault. You just have to know on Mondays and Wed they are there early. Get over it they have to do their jobs too. That helicopter was there one night so you don't have a valid complaint. Most of the other helicppters are military or flight for life. I have lived there much longer then you. Honestly I don't have any complaints its all in how you handle situations and adapt and overcome.

It sounds like someone would like people to do things for her and accomodate her every need. I would recommend that you buy your own island and have people do what you want when you want. You must think that you were the only one who lived there or something, people have jobs to do and disrupting you is probably not on their mind. Stonecreek was so quiet, I don't get that complaint. Maybe you should have tried to live on the other side of the 190, i think that you would have heard gun shots instead of helicopters air lifting people or doing training. Get a life girl.

Note for anyone thinking of moving here, the sirens this lady heard are from a fire station right up the road just off of Trimmier. Its not cops flying into the area, its firemen doing their job. So don't think this place is in a crime-filled hell, its a nice place.
