I lived here for quite a while. It's OK to live at but nothing to go crazy over.

Here are a few pros:
-if you need maintenance, you get taken care of pretty well, just try not to call on a weekend
-Same management the whole time, so not a big turnover, plus manager lives on property.
-Covered Parking (but only one assigned spot)
-can have pets for a fee
-pool is kept up once a week but it is small and very restricted on who can swim there, so if you have more than one guest, only one can swim and the rest have to sit at the sidelines


CONS:
-maintenance comes in without letting you know that they will, even if you are gone and did not request it!
-OLD OLD NASTY carpet
-OLD OLD NASTY appliances, including the AC which broke often
-small laundrey facility is old and the machines are always broken.
-advertise free cable but it is the very lower end, so you get about 10 channels, 4 local and the rest suck
-charge for water by averaging the whole complex's bill every month and charging you the same as everyone else with your apt size, regardless if others have 4 people living there to your one.
-Interior really sucks, hard to get to smell nice because of the condition of the carpet, and holes in walls from before were just taped over and painted...yes, taped, not patched. You can request patches if you want though.
-I've heard through friends who also lived there that the management can be racist and very biased. They have been caught telling little fibs after going into some peoples apartments for no reason at all.
-some crime, cars being broken into and whatnot

Overall, they fix what needs to be fixed, but I wouldn't move there if I had it to do again. If you are poor and struggling, it will get you by (but there are a bunch of other apts cheaper than this in town, in fact rent keeps increasing there from what I hear), if you are picky or just want a decent place, look elsewhere.
