Most people already know that they do not change the air filters here. Also little roaches take up residence in the apartments no matter how well you clean. But the worst thing, the bed bug infestation throughout the complex. If you happen to get an apartment that doesn't have them, count yourself lucky. Legaly the complex has to do something about them. We told them and they say they have tried. Well, try again until it works. My health is at risk. I am embarrassed to walk out of the house in short sleeves or anything other than pants. I am constantly covered in bites. My sleep is disturbed, so I am always tired. This isn't good since I work and am a college student. The rent is outrageously high for the quality of what you get. The stove doesn't work properly, so it's basically useless yet they won't fix it. The ac likes to flood the apartment yet it takes them a week to fix. When I moved in the dishwasher was in pieces, the shower didn't work and when the damages were reported they asked "why'" Uh...don't know, just moved in and it was like that. Not only do they charge for a pet deposit, they also charge you more per month for having a pet. Um...that's what the pet deposit is for, you shouldn't have to pay more per month. Their excuse not to take care of anything is because they are owned by a big coorporation. I see it as they don't care and that they are too unwilling to try and get things done.
And another thing, the other tennants don't care about what time you have work or school in the morning. It's no problem to them to party outside your apartment till 4am. And the laundry appliances are a joke...when they actually work.
