My family and I have been residents of The Lodge at Kingwood Apartments for some time. Since the property has been sold, the changes have been negative, illegal and terribly inconsiderate of resident needs. We've never been late on rent and are frequently told by Management and staff what wonderful tenants we have been. However, the current staff and management have IRRESPONSIBLY/ILLEGALLY given a 14-year-old child resident access to personal files of residents, including ours, allowing the child to file papers after school. By law these files are to be maintained under lock and key. PRIVATE information of residents (including ours) has been violated! Further, we were promised a personal trainer and trash pickup at the door, neither of which materialized. It was merely a sales pitch. There is no longer a social director. The parking is insufficient, and we have had to make numerous requests to the office personnel for maintenance before the issues were addressed. Promises mean nothing to the staff and management, and the quality of living has dramatically declined, yet our rent was increased. There is no longer a teacher clause in any lease either. Many good residents have moved due to changes that have been made by the new management. We are now looking elsewhere...The Lodge has lost another good resident!
