Our rent was raised every 6 months at $30-50 at a time, starting at $500 and ending at $680 when we moved out, but our problems kept getting worse as we paid more money. Management changes every few months, and the longest a maintenance person has been there was 2 months. They never had a maintenance person to speak English, no offense to anyone, but they should know a little English if they're going to try and communicate with the person whose stuff they're there to fix, I mean super-glue. The air conditioner was total crap. Even on high full blast, we were lucky if it just kept us from sweating so much during the summer. And when we complained they told us to just wait until the whole thing broke completely before they would even think about fixing or replacing it. The whole apartment complex is held together with super-glue because they're in such a hurry to supposedly fix the problem and they use the cheapest materials and basically tape it together and hope it holds until the next time you complain. There's no insulation in the outside walls. We accidentally busted a hole in an outside wall of our living room moving a coffee table, and there wasn't any insulation of any kind in the wall -- we just saw 2x4s and the outside bricks. We also heard everything from neighbors on either side of us, even when they went to the bathroom -- Gross! Plumbing was a huge issue! We had a hot water pipe bust over our kitchen sink while my child was standing at the sink, and thank God she moved away as soon as she heard it crack or she would have been scalded. Several other pipes have busted and they just put a little cupling in there to temporarily seal it up. Then they sloppily scotch taped drywall back over it so that we had these awful patches of wall and ceiling that were never sanded or floated like a professional would have done. Then the same pipe area busted a month later and they "fixed" it the same way. There were three drug dealers in my building alone, made me wonder how many actually lived on the grounds. The grounds are dangerous! Huge holes and cracks in the sidewalks, shrubs with prickly leaves that left scars on my daughter when she tripped in a sidewalk hole and landed in a shrub. Potholes that would swallow our car -- We paid over $950 to get wheel axles replaced because of the pothole damage. The office staff would actually argue with us about our problems saying we must've caused the busted pipes and other stuff. Hello! The pipes are inside the ceiling -- how could we have even touched them' And the office staff never returned calls and even screened our calls when we would need to tell them of another problem. They always seemed to be "out to lunch" during hours. It took them 4 months one time to write a work order for my shorted out ceiling fan. I had a home lead paint test kit, and there was more than enough lead paint on one square inch of both the inside and outside test areas to kill someone. That's when we started looking for other places to live and moved out.

a lot of this sounds right. I am about to move out. I didn't have any thing really bad happen but we have been there six months and they are raising the rent $25 my apartment is covered in nasty looking patches to cover holes in the wall even the doors. Paint is peeling everywhere even the sink and bathtub. When my dryer broke and I would have to use their's I would get freaked out and scared because I could only go at night. The office is hard to get ahold of a lot of the time. They have always been really friendly but I learned to get everything in writing because the would forget what the told me or go back on it. I do hear a lot of partying the peopleup stairs don't really bother me because i only hear them in the livingroom and they usually don't last past 1 a.m. The people behind me piss me off tho they go all night and all day every week end. I don't know what happen because when I first moved in it was okay then one weekend they started up. If I don't have my fan on I can even hear word for word what they are saying they are that loud. They have their music up so loud and the weekend are when I work mornings. the lady on the other side has a loud ass boyfriend and drunk friend but the are okay. To me this place was okay because where I came from was pure hell check out Casa Quinta ratings.
