I lived at the Royal apartments for over a year and it sucked. The place has no insulation so I would hear everyone else's business in the complex. My apartment was an ugly brown color that reminded me of a 1960's mobile home. The air conditioner was constantly making noise and freezing up. My electric bills were about 150 dollars a month because of it. I would see roaches because they would never spray for bugs. I even found a few baby snakes in my bathroom a couple times. I think the stove was one of the first electric stoves ever produced, the oven would burn everything. I had really loud neighbors that were always fighting and yelling and with the walls being so thin I would hear it all. There was one washer and one dryer and it would cost about 3 dollars to wash and dry one load of clothes. The dryer sucked so bad. Anyways I would not recommend the Royal apartments to anyone. There are a lot nicer ones around for basically the same price range.
