Parking at this apartment complex is rarely available near your unit. I always have to park a bit further away because the other tenants always open their car doors into my car. I've seen many residents double-park on purpose because they don't want anyone to park next to them. I also can't park under any shaded areas because I'll have bird poop all over my car in the morning. The noise level is not as quiet as what the staff leads you to believe. Almost every resident here has a pet, and I can always hear dogs running in my neighboring units. I also get the honor of stepping on their dog poo outside. The overall appearance is okay, but there is nothing GREAT.
The gym sucks. None of their equipment works, and they're never going to replace any of it. I've already put in several requests since last January and they've pretty much ignored that. The safety of roads adjacent to the apartment complex is very poor. The bushes that are on the median before you turn in blocks your view of on-coming cars. All of the cabinets in my unit are crooked. So are the walls because they've patched it up so many times. Their complimentary "accent wall color" did not turn out anything like the swatch they showed me. The paint was uneven and smeared onto the other walls and ceiling.
The maintenance guys are friendly, but I've had many occasions when they've entered my unit, did something, and not leave a maintenance form behind to let me know that someone has been there. My dishwasher never works correctly, and collects a lot of water at the bottom which creates this awful smell throughout my apartment. When I put in a request to get it fixed, they tell me that nothing's wrong with it. The AC is always breaking down, so they have to constantly come by to fix it.
The worst thing about this place is the staff. They're unprofessional, always rude, clueless, and incompetent. And FYI: I was never late on ANY payments or gave them any trouble.

So it is the staffs problem that the median where you turn into is blocking your site. They do not control the median. That would be the home ownwers that live behind the complex.

I did not say it was the Apartment staff's fault that the median is blocking the view when turning into the Apartment complex. I simply stated that, "The bushes that are on the median before you turn in blocks your view of on-coming cars." It is a safety hazard. Regardless of who's responsibility these bushes belong to, the staff at the Anchorage should have a say so in the effects it has on its residents. They should at least take it into consideration and file a complaint for their residents; not try to push the issue onto someone else and not do anything about it.
