I second that: You get what you pay for!

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2003
When we moved in, the electric company did not switch the electricity into our name. The apartment office was getting notices the whole time and they never told us. So we had to call the electric company out on Friday night to connect it for us. Luckily, First Choice went to bat with us against the HORRIBLE manager and we did not have to pay the reconnect fee. The manager was even rude to the FC lady!
The manager lied to us and switched the apartment we were supposed to move into.
She harassed us over the phone b/c we hadn't signed the lease (we were waiting to see the actual apartment, which she had said would be fine.)
The apartment overall is ok. The dining room light goes on and off on its own and they never did fix it correctly.
Now we're trying to prelease another apartment in the city and they say Calder won't release our rental information. They want our 30 day notice. But I'm not giving notice until 30 days before we leave.
There's also a lot of kids around and they run around screaming all the time and you can hear them in your house.
The apartment is fine for the price you pay, but a lot are empty for a reason. The people in the office are rude after you live here and they don't have to impress you anymore.
