Concerns about security

We have been since the end of October 2007 and so far we have had 3 of our kids toys stolen. My son's power wheels ($400), his bike and my daughter's trike. This just proves to me that security sucks greatly here. We have gates, but it doesn't do us any good if they don't close. I agree with most of these other reviews on the help from the staff. It is like they have better things to do with their time. I hope that we can find a house soon.

i agree and they definitely shouldnt have taken two to three weeks to replace the bulbs on the palm trees as you travel the main drive because those few bulbs would have lit up the the property a little better, yeah right. the lighting all throughout the complex is terrible. breeding grounds for crime. they definitely need more lighting in the parking lots and more frequent trash pick up. parking spots are a nice size, but most people cant park their dumb *ss in 'em. how would you like it if i damaged your ride. at least let me tear up my own since i pay the note. you would think that all of the money we pay a month for rent, yo u could keep or get the gate fixed (not open 4 days straight, its suppose to be for security or looks?), more lights (to increase visibility), trash picked up and not stacked all around a 30' x 7' container (oh that looks real nice, trash stacked up almost higher than the units, lets move there), qualified maintenance, competent management, and a news letter mentioning that "you" need to SLOW DOWN when driving through the property (families with kids live here not to mention that i dont want to ran the f ck over either). speaking as a group gets more results, so at least meet your neighbors and talk about your concerns and find out what issues you share and complain until something gives. eventually you will be heard and change will come, hopefully for the better. i know that nothing is perfect but for this amount of money we all pay, remember we live by a golf course not a ghetto. evidently we need to replace more than the management staff. also for the amount of money we all pay a month you would think that they would type or write out a repair or work order request when reported, not to mention leaving a copy in your apartment stating work done and if it was repaired. it is very obvious that there is a bigger problem than management because upper management should or is aware or their many problems since the tenants have have to contact him or her because they werent taken care of by office management and staff. never mind about the newsletter, they have enough already from the looks of it. DID I MENTION THAT WE PAY THEIR SALARIES, ALL THIS MONEY A MONTH TO LIVE LIKE THIS. SO WHAT ARE WE GETTING FOR THE MONEY WE ARE PAYING TO LIVE HERE?
