Incompetent Maintenance and Management

I agree with all of the terrible reviews on this site. I have been living here for 2 1/2 months and have had a lot of the same issues. The apartment was not ready when we moved in, our a/c has broken twice, other appliances have broken, and there are roaches everywhere. I should have realized what a mistake it was to move in here before by the way the application and approval process went. It took 2 weeks to get approved and everytime I called they said they would call me back and never would. The management tells you something, but it means nothing b/c they don't follow through. The maintenence staff acts like they are doing you a favor and is incapable of fixing things right the first time. This place is a dump. Everything is run down and they don't care. The door to the gym has been broken for months and is falling apart. The access gates have never worked since I've lived here and the swimming pool by the office is gross. Take everyone's advice and avoid this place. I wish I had gone with my initial instincts and picked another complex. It is less expensive for a reason. And although it is true that people who are unhappy are usually the ones who post negative reviews, I have looked up all three complexes that I've lived in in the Houston area and none of them have ratings below 50%. I have never had an experience like this and I've been telling everyone I know about it. I can't wait to move out!

I wish you would have read our reviews before you moved in. You could avoid a lot of heartache. The management is absolute trash that works there. Also, I have more bad news, just wait till you move out....it's going to be rough. Go ahead and expect they will charge you for all sorts of things and I can 100 percent guarantee you will not get back your deposit. Whatever you do make sure that from now on you get every dealing with management IN WRITING. No matter what they tell you because they will LIE. They will tell you anything you want to hear at the moment and smile while they are doing it. Even for the smallest thing you ask them to do. If they refuse, then you know they won't do what they say they will. You might end up having to threaten and take them to court like we are having to do.

Hey guys, look up Texas tenant law regarding deposits. This complex feels they are above the law so they don't take it into consideration while sucking up everyone's money. I moved out in May, they sent me 1/2 of my deposits back with no explaination ( I gave it back to them), even after there were no repair charges on my move out walk thru.(They tried to charge me for carpet etc., they didn't produce my move in walk thru form showing that the carpet was bad when I moved in, until I produced my signed copy). Texas law states that if they do not return 100% of your deposit within 30 days of your move out(with a written notice), or a portion of it with explainations of their charges, you are entitled to 3 times the amount of your original deposit plus 100.00 and court costs. File on them in Judge Mark Foster's court in Bay Cliff. It takes 7 months to get to court but it is worth it. The Fairways attorney doesn't do his research and mis-quotes the lease. Do your homework!!!! They need to stop taking advantage of honest people to make up for their horrible move out rate caused by their incompetence and un-professional attitude and actions.
