This tax credit apartment complex was brand new when I moved in with my roomate, so we were the first to live in our beautiful apartment and had a very low rent. Eventually, as with any tax credit property, the place went to absolute ----. My next door neighbor sold drugs and beat his girlfriend, I had a fat --- crackhead living across the hall with his sister & what must have been 15 kids, my downstairs neighbor had repeatedly tried to break in to my apartment, forcing me to buy a gun, trashbins were set ablaze, LCPD was always there for breakins, drug dealing, guns, fights, etc., etc. you get the point. And that was just MY building! It was not this that finally put me over the edge, though, it was the toxic mold which made me chronically sick! Not a healthy environment for anyone. By the time I left, this 2 year old complex was covered with graffitti, trash, and degenerates of all sorts. I found out later that the night I moved out, 20 cars were broken into. Glad I didn't have to shoot anyone. I hear that the 3 bedroom units rent for like $500 now. Trust me, value is value, but for your health and safety's sake, find another place to live.

This ghetto apartment complex is the worst in the area and the newest in dickinson. The owners are horrible and have been sued for the apartments having mold in them and still do. you can find more about the bay colony lawsuit by just going online. The current manager Jeannie(emma)- rude, mean, not professional and maintenance is even worse. Things go unfixed for weeks that turn into months. The grounds are filthy and I mean filthy, there are no sidewalks so the grass is horrible, the playgrounds and buildings have garbage all over them and the second playground has no equipment. They have trash all over the grounds and cigarette butts as far as the eye can see. They have so much crime and vandals and the on site police office is even scared to go out after hours- drug dealers, break-ins that is only the beginning. Move there and it will be a disaster from day one and I mean every word of it. So bottom line if you want to breathe toxic mold and hear every excuse that Jeannie (emma) can come up with if she doesnt call the police when you come into the office with a complaint for coming into her ghetto government housing office and threating her then live there for yourself and all of the above can come true. If you want to see how filthy the place is go by and take a tour and see what Jordan Cove/ Bay colony has to offer-good luck!
