Customer Service sucks!

Years at this apartment: 2003-01-01 - 2003-01-01
My husband and I lived at The Moorings for a little over a year.
No maintenance problems to speak of.
The walls are pretty thin...could hear everything my neighbors upstairs were doing! Parking is terrible.
People who paid for parking under a covered lot each month would stil use other parking spaces, leaving a bunch of us walking across the communtiy to get to our apartments.
The apartments inside were nice, had a roach problem that I was told had to be taken care of each month that I saw a roach (couldn't just get monthly pest control).
We had a nice view on the marina...nice to look out over Clear Lake.
The major issue I had with them is their turnover in help.
Every month I went to turn in my rent I was greeted by somebody new! After moving, I was told my security deposit would be mailed to me.
After a month of waiting, I called and was told somebody would get back to me.
This happened about 5 times with excuses each time as to why they never called me back.
Then I was told that my carpet had to be replaced When I questioned why, they stated that my cats had torn it up (my cats are declawed and for the record, there was no damage).
However, I live in another state, so it's hard to fight this with no pics.
When I called Greystar, the company that manages The Moorings, I was given the same excuse.
I called them questioning this stuff for over 2 months and have still not even received a check out sheet stating all that they did with my security deposit.
I would suggest finding another place for residency.
The staff always has a fake smile on their face and only act like they know you when they are with another customer trying to "close" the deal on another apartment! Your money is better spent where you may get less luxury, but will be appreciated.
