My husband and I have not lived here long, but in the 5 months we have been here it's been great! The staff is so extremely friendly, and take very good care of us!
The maintinence is awesome, they get the job done ASAP! On Christmas night we got home from out of town late(around 10:30pm) and our heater wasn't working at all! It was sooo cold, so we called the after ours number and left a message for maintanence. Not even 10 min. later we got a phone call informing us that help was on the way! He figured out the problem and was done in less than an hour! We were so thankful!
Now, I don't see all the noisy college kids that the other reviews reffer to, but some friends of ours moved in three months ago and had too many guests over and were complained on. They received a letter as a warning. So to say management does nothing is just wrong!
Also, we have a courtesy officer that lives on property to handle noisy situations, and she does! She even calls back to let you know she has taken care of it. I have had to call her once and haven't heard a problem since.
The lower level apartments are built where the kitchen and dining area of the above apartment are right over our bedroom, so the neighbors may not know the are being super noisey while you are trying to sleep. So after the courtesy officer went by and let the neighbor know he was being too loud, has been much more noise concensious.
We love the view, the boats, the palm trees, EVERYTHING! We even feed the ducks and have nick names for some of them! The tenents we have met here are all very friendly. Some walk their dogs in the evenings and will stop and talk and let you pet their dog. It's so nice to have such friendly people surrounding us. We don't even have to worry about our safety, no break-ins, we even had out bikes on the porch for three, months un-locked, and they were never touched.
Very safe community, We are happy to be here!
