I signed a six month lease when I moved in three months into the lease I was told if I didn't renew my lease at that point that my rent would increase dramatically. At which point I went ahead and renewed my lease. I was set up for direct billing and did not extend this and was not warned about this possibly being a problem. When the time came and the direct billing run out I was charged a $75 late fee. At the end of my lease I will be moving. This complex is willing to apply a $500 refural fee but not willing to overlook a $75 late fee to keep a tenant from moving out. Very high turnover rate in this complex new neighbors constantly.
My Electric bill is $60/Month when I leave the apart. everything is turned off even when I go to work and I am only in the apartment for 4 days/wk. I have complained about the AC unit that runs constantly and was told that it cools sufficiently.
