I lived in Basswood for a little under a year. I would NEVER live there again. While the office staff was friendly initially, they quickly became irate and unreasonable when you need things repaired. I have a stack of certified letters and photos of proof that repairs that I submitted in writing, that were never taken care of. I have proof from the city of Lewisville that shows that sewage and ecoli filled water came through my pipes and into my bathtub, from this apartment complex. I have pictures of raw sewage that would frequently back up into the yard, in front of my apartment, being uncared for. It was insane.

Trash was a nightmare and would always back- up causing flies and a tremendously awful smell, all of the time.

Then, parking was a nightmare everyday. I had to follow a set schedule if I wanted to park in the complex because there were NEVER parking spots available after 6pm. Now, I am not divulging this information because I hate Basswood, rather, I want to ward off another family from doing the same things that we did. The all bills paid is NOT worth it!
