WHen I was in college I couldn't afford to live in a nice apartment. So when I saw the upgrades that they did at the Catalina Apartment community, and the spectacular built in closets I jumped at the location. Shortly after moving in though I saw that the new cabinets, new carpet, new floors and new paint DOES NOT equal a new apartment. I pay nearly $650 a month for this apartment. I should have know that It was all a front though, because on the day of the move in I called when the lease began, and was informed that my apartment would not be ready until 1 o'clock (in the middle of summer, I didn't have some of the upgrades that I was promised, the alarm system that the leasing agent hyped up doesn't actually work (I was informed that most of them don't work and if it's working now and stops working, they won't fix it), my refrigerator had to be replaced, the vent in the hall fell off the wall randomly one night, the toilet sings in the middle of the night, there are a circus of ants and spiders, and my door is currently falling off the hinges. If you want to stay some place nice that's for single young adults I wouldn't recommend this complex. and don't let the model apartment fool you because what looks like a new apartment is fake new.

I am a single mom with a toddler and I live at the Catalina! I have lived here for 2 years and My identity was stolen and my bank account was cleaned out. They worked with me and I had them paid in full by the end of the month! I trully felt their concern for me and that meant alot.
