So here's the deal. I was apartment hunting about a month ago. I found this place online and called to check out their rates. They convinced me to come out that day to look at an apartment, as I later found out that is was solely for the reason that this particular person would not be working on Saturday. Since I had to work that day, I agreed to come out after 5pm. After looking at the apartment, I was told that the "specials" (which werent that great considering the size)were look and lease today only. So it was not the usual 24 hour look and lease special that most apartments do. I was pressured to make a decision right then and there w/o much time to think about it. Because my experience with Lewisville aprtments had not been so great, I decided this was decent and went ahead with the application process. The "special" price was already at the top of my price range, but then as im filling out the application they reveal they also have a pet rent. An extra $20 a month! Come on...my pets dont have an income and you're already charging me an $800 pet deposit.

After walking out of there, my intuition told me that this place was too expensive. So I repeatedly called to find out if there was something cheapier or if they would negotiate something with me. The girl handling our applications was such a ding bat and never returned my calls. I was frustruated by this point and decided to do a stop payment on the checks I had written, mainly due to poor customer service.

But if that wasnt bad enough, I recieved a call from the manager, ------, today (might I remind you this is a month later) regarding the paycheck stubs that I was suppose to fax to her to complete our applications. We'll if she had the slightest clue of what was going on, she would have known that I already sent them to her, a month ago. I explained that we had already found another aparment and she responded with "well your application and admin fees are non-refundable." I then told her to go ahead and try to cash them, I have already stopped payment on them. She replied that that was illegal. Well I'll tell you what should be illegal is hiring a bunch of dumb blondes who sit around and chit chat about their personal lives, instead of helping the possible future tenats. And what also should be illegal is making us sign forms saying our paycheck stubs had to be faxed to them within 2 days of completing the application, when in fact they were contacting me a month later to see where the paycheck stubs were at.

Before I looked at this community, I read others' comments on here about how bad the staff was. I now wish I would have listened to them. I would have saved myself a huge headache and a little bit of money. For anyone considering this place, I forwarn you to find out every little bit of detail before signing a lease. A company with such poor management should not be allowed to do business as they do.

Exactly! Dumb blondes that chit chat about their personal lives. I finally moved out of there, thank god. And I would never go back.

Yeah, your logic is measured by your words..."dumb blondes"..ever think that it's offensive to blondes that are smart? Sooo glad you moved out, and please never come back, because your probably our neighbor who is mad at everyone else, nothing's your fault...GOGOGO!!

They were dumb blondes that dressed as though they belonged on harry hines! and chapel hill hires a different leasing agent every other week! im surprised that corporate has not been involved yet! Tina and john should be let go.
