Average I suppose

I lived here for nearly 2 and a half years. I'd say this place is merely average, but probably slowly getting worse as it gets older...
I didn't have too many issues here. The rent was fairly cheap and when this last lease was up, they finally increased my rent rate by about 5% which isn't too bad. My electric bills were pretty terrible and I lived on the 3rd floor which didn't help things. I had a 2 bedroom and one of the bedrooms was always about 6-7 degrees hotter than the other.
My biggest issue (and made me glad to get out of there) was the new tenants that were starting to become more common place. More noise late at night, arguments, and general riff raff behavior was starting to become very noticeable. The walls are very thin, and they have extremely large windows on entire sides of walls that make the sound go right through. I had a lot of trouble getting a good night's sleep. I highly recommend you do NOT get a unit anywhere near a cross street, because you will regret it big time (maybe that's why my rent was so cheap).
Parking was occasionally a pain in the ass, but there was plenty in front of my building most of the time. The sprinkler system was pretty bad, spraying my newly washed car on more than one occasion. That didn't make me very happy.
Then about a month before I was to move out, a car right next to mine got broken into. I have a brand new Honda Accord and was scared I was going to suffer the same fate, but luckily that didn't happen.
Overall, this apartment was nothing special, and I didn't have any major complaints while living there, but could see the potential decline going forward. My advice to people is to not try to get into the biggest place for the cheapest price, I'd say almost the opposite.. get into a comfortably sized apartment that is in your price range, and you'll be a lot happier you did because it keeps the riff raff away.
