I have lived here for 10 months and everything has worked out just fine until Tuesday, September 11th.. Yea, ironic date, I know.. Let me back up... Monday, Sept. 10th I called the office to make a maintenance request and a staff member said "we will have someone come in later today, if not tomorrow" So I arrived home from work Tuesday to find that my laptop and digital camera had been STOLEN!! There was no forced entry with the door.. The door was in perfect shape, no evidence of anyone trying to pry on the hinges, knob or deadbolt. I was in complete shock and immediately called the office and explained to them the situation only to have them forward my call to the manager's VOICEMAIL!! I called again and they said they were not sure what to do, they had heard of 2 other cases that happened that day in which after the phone call, a neighbor came home to find that his digital camera had been stolen. Of course we made a police report, left a message to the manager's voicemail and still have NOT heard from anyone from the office about this theft that has occured. I have just finished emailing ----, the manager a very stern letter expressing my unhappiness in the way they handle things.
So, for any future residents who are considering moving into this place, I warn you that you will only be helped and acknowledge when you sign the lease, give them your money and then you're completely forgotten for the rest of your contract.
If anything happens to your property, they will say they're not liable for it. They should be liable for their neglect towards situations such as THEFT!!

You are such a ignorant person. You obviously have not come out from under your ROCK to learn that over 10 apartment communities have been burglarized on the SAME DAY, SAME M/O, and it's been all over the NEWS. They hit Coppell the week before, Las Colinas the month before, and over 70 vehicles at UNT the week before this week's unfortunate events. WAKE UP AND THINK BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR IGNORANT MOUTH!

why is he ignorant? who cares how many places were robbed. his complaint was that the staff didn't lend any help in this situation. they never return their calls and you can leave countless voicemails but they never answer. So yeah, that comment was irrelevant. Robbery or not, Chapel Hill doesn't give a flying----- about their tenants. ----- CHAPEL HILL!!!
