We've lived here almost two years, and despite what some have written, our experience has been a good one. We sold our home and did not want to jump right into another home, so we decided to take our time in buying our next home and rent an apartment. Initially, we had thoughts of renting and everything that's involved, but after living here, we find it pleasant and overall a peaceful place to be. If you are considering living in an apartment community, ignore most of these online writings and visit the apartment community yourself. That's probably the best advise that we can provide. Drive around during the day, weekend, and at night and then make a decision. That's exactly what we did, and we feel that we made the right decision. That "short term" between homes has now been almost two years, that says something.

Why would the public ignore so many negative comments about this complex?? These comments are from actual residents and past residents who know the ins and outs of chapel hill. It is not the best idea to just read the few positive comments while ignoring the overwhelming negative responses against the management here. It is clear that not everyone is emotionally out of control. odds are definitely against the management of chapel hill. It's only a matter of time before they get what is coming to them. I suppose I mean that in a roundabout way, like when you treat people a certain way it comes back on you.
